Last month, we hosted our winter retreat in the Austrian Alps, bringing together 15 humanitarian workers from seven different countries.
What struck us most was how quickly deep connections formed. When you're surrounded by people who truly understand your experiences, there's an immediate sense of relief and recognition.
"I didn't realize how isolated I'd become," shared one participant. "Being here, hearing others' stories, made me feel less alone in my struggles."
The retreat included both structured activities and free time for personal reflection. Participants particularly valued the evening circles, where stories were shared in a safe, supportive environment.
We're already planning our spring retreat and hope to see many of you there.
