We are a team of mental health professionals and humanitarian workers who understand the unique challenges of frontline work.

The Break e.V. was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to support the mental health and resilience of those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Humanitarian workers, volunteers, and activists face extraordinary challenges. They witness suffering, work in difficult conditions, and often put others' needs before their own. This takes a toll.
We believe that caring for the carers is not just important—it's essential for sustainable humanitarian work. When helpers are supported, they can continue their vital work with renewed energy and purpose.
Meet the dedicated individuals behind The Break who bring together expertise in mental health, humanitarian work, and community building.
